Friday, August 31st

Friday, August 31st:  Just a very relaxing day with Gretchen making it to the pool, not once, but twice.  The guys had to make a beer run since all was drank but one beer!  This is a dry county, no liquor, but beer can be purchased.  Lucky for the beer drinkers!

Dinner with Angelo and Mary Beth who were our Michigan tailgate campers.  And a friend Bill and I haven't seen for 35 years.  Nice Mexican dinner.  But very tired when we got back at 10:00 so beddie-bye time for Gretchen while the guys stayed up to watch Boise State lose to Michigan State.  Roger is a Boise State fan and Bill and Gretchen will NEVER be Michigan State fans.

All is quiet here with the Bama fans.  They seem to hibernate.    The heat here is relentless.  Another day in the upper 90's.  Thanks goodness for that pool and icy cold refreshments!
