Saturday, Sept 1st: The Classic Game. The day started off with a bar-b-que sandwich at the famous Angelo's in Fort Worth. It was tremendous. Then back to the campsite when the KOA took our picture with the Michigan decorations. This can be found on their facebook (Dallas Metro KOA).
Back to the campsite for a pre-game nap and then off to the Cowboys Stadium. Some of the gals really got into the western outfit thing with the mini dresses and cowgirl boots. Oh to be that young again!
Picture of Bill and roger is partaking of our first beer at the stadium.
Other pictures are of the amazing tv which must be at least 80 feet. You find yourself watching the tv instead of the game since the picture was so good. The stadium is very state of the art with the best sounding , and loud, music. However, the taxi que is disgusting. No taxi's for 1/2 hour at a time. We stood in line for almost two hours to get our taxi. Behind us there must have been 300 people in line. The stadium people really let us down on this. We heard that for the Cowboy games there is not this problem. They just didn't hire enough patrols for after this game.
The game: what can we say except that Alabama fans are very gracious. The morning after, the elderly gentlement across the street brought us warm donuts! Go Blue. It certainly was a thrill to be here and experience this.
